Seattle Trip part 2

Okay I know I should have posted this forever ago. Seems I have been VERY busy. We got home, settled in and then I went back to Seattle to help my parents move. Then since I have been back I haven't been feeling well or motivated. More on that another time.

Anyways here is part 2 of our Seattle trip.. I actually wrote it out a while ago so its just been sitting here waiting for me to get my rear in gear

Sunday in Seattle was fun as well. After church and some naps we went to meet with some friends at the park near Christina's parents house. Lake Wilderness is a beautiful area with a lake and a park. The kids played at the playground and fed a friendly squirrel. Here are some pictures from Sunday.

Also Keziah thought that the doggy door at Christina's parents house was made just for her...

Monday night we went to Snoqualmie falls.

One Tuesday we went to the beach with some friends.

Then we went by the temple in Seattle and walked around.

On Wednesday we went to Lake Wilderness again and attempted to take some family pictures and individual pictures. We got a few acceptable ones. Before patience ran out. Then we went swimming.

Thursday we tried to take it easy and then we went to a Tacoma, Rainiers baseball game that night.

Saturday we went swimming again and joined in a couple 4th festivities and watched an insane amount of fireworks from the upstairs window of Christina's parents house. Seems everyone in the greater Seattle area felt the need to put on their own show. It was insane how many fireworks were going off everywhere.
Keziah is a little fish.. she absolutely LOVED the water regardless of its chilly temperature.

Monday we did some last minute shopping and packed and headed for home Tuesday. We decided to do only 2 days instead of one so the first day we made it all the way to Boise and stayed with Lucas and Marianne again. Then Wednesday in the morning we headed out. We wanted to stop at Shoshone falls outside Twin Falls. We picnicked there and the kids really liked it.

Then we got home and found three-four foot tall weeds in our driveway. But Stan and Alice took great care of our garden and our yard so thankfully we didn't have too much work to do to try and get back in the swing of things.

Okay that is it for our Seattle posts. I will have another post up in the next couple days with what we have been doing since then. Thanks, and we love you all.
