Lots of pictures...

Okay so alot has happened the last few weeks so we will go kid by kid.

David... is proud to be done with first grade. He is such a smart little boy reading above grade level and doing great. He went into Utah with Aunt Shauna and Nathan and had fun there. Then he went with us when we took Keziah to the Dr. We went to the church history museum in Salt Lake at temple square. I think his favorite part was the I am a Child of God Exhibit where they were able to play around and they made crayon rubbings of CTR (choose the right) in different languages. We didn't have near enough time and will definately have to go back. Then we went over to the legacy theater and watched a movie about Joseph Smith. Both boys were crying by the end. David said he was scared of how loud it was and sad and Nathan just said he was sad. We finally had to talk about something else to get his mind off it. Seems our boys aren't used to movies with sad endings. Then we went to Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house and the boys really enjoyed walking around inside the temple. Finally we ended with a BBQ at my cousin Kira's house and the boys seemed to enjoy themselves there.

Nathan did all the same with us. He also graduated from Kindergarten and was very proud of himself.

The week after the bigger boys went to Utah with Aunt Shauna the little boys (Zephen and McCaul) got to go in with Grandma and everyone. They went to the This is the Point monument and then to the zoo. I think they had fun. You can judge for yourself from the pictures.

They also got to go help Grandma and Grandpa Warren unload the truck. Given their infatuation with "BIG trucks" they were excited though a bit scared to be so close to a big truck.

Keziah also had fun "helping".

They also moved out of their cribs a few weeks back but we didn't have their big boy beds done and we didn't want to get a bunk bed quite yet (think broken arms from top bunk falls ESPECIALLY with Zephen) BUT we finally got their beds done. We made them some hanging beds based off some things we have seen online. We just put together a few different ideas and designed our own. We had a few glitches but the main design should fit them a while. David and Nathan both spent one night in the bed... David was a bit big but Nathan fit fine and all four boys seem to really like them. The twins have been falling asleep pretty fast too. Something about rocking is so soothing. Anyways here are some pics.... Yes they are hanging from the ceiling and they bounce and rock.

Keziah just got to hang around with Mommy and Daddy and get dragged around. We did have to take her into primary children's to check on her kidneys and urinary tract after her kidney infection last month. Good news was that her kidneys looked perfect. No scaring, no damage from that infection. Bad news was she has stage 2 reflux between her bladder and her ureters. Meaning that the urine can go back up to her kidneys... which isn't terrible unless there is bacteria in it so she has to be on low dose antibiotics for the next 2 years probably. We have to reevaluate every year or sooner if she has problems. She has an 80% chance of getting better on her own. So fingers crossed we fall in that group.

Sheldon has been plugging along and getting work done. BUT exciting news is he finally got his CCC. Certificate of Clinical Competency. It was more of a procrastination thing than anything but ultimately he is officially nationally certified. YAY!!! Sheldon

Today is also Sheldon and My 9 year anniversary. It hasn't seemed like that long. Its been a good 9 years.

Other than that we haven't done alot. Its been raining constantly here which sort of dampened our adventurous ways. But we do have plans for our first summer break picnic to bird creek on Friday, fingers crossed the rain doesn't show

We are all gearing up for our trip to Seattle and everyone is excited and nervous. I think it will be a lot of fun. I am sure we will have TONS of pictures to share after that. So wish us luck. It will be a long trip but lots of fun.

Race Cars

Alright I am finally getting around to the race car pictures. We gave each kid the choice of a race car they wanted their picture taken.
DavidNathan liked both these cars.. Mommy liked this car
Zephen and McCaul liked this car All the kids liked this little car that was zipping around between all the cars. Apparently the real race car was still in trailer but the guy was cruising town in this

While we were at the part they also got to play on some toys. The park there is old so its got alot of things we just dont get at most kids parks now days. Like super high fast slides that terrify little kids and spit them out with super sonic force.

Merry go rounds that can spin so fast there is a real possibility it might take off one day.

And swings that are more than just swings

Despite all that only one injury was sustained when McCaul bailed off the merry go round, which he did quite well. Only problem was that Nathan and David were spinning it at the time and Nathan tried to stop so he didn't run over McCaul. Well he stopped running but hung on to the merry go round and it dragged him around right over the top of McCaul. A couple scrapped knees (which seems to be fairly common around here since the weather warmed up) but everyone was ultimately fine.

Right now the kids are wrapping up the last week of school. Today is Nathan's Kindergarten program and they have field day on Friday. I will have the camera poised and ready.
